My friend Daniel Braum recently invited me back onto his YouTube channel to debut two new stories in my Notes from an Imaginary Place project.

Our conversation was recorded, so you can watch it here at any time.

This is the first time that two of the stories in the series have been linked by being set in related places within the same world. The stories feature croquet and ghosts, and I hope you’ll find them entertaining if you check them out. Dan and I also discuss the somewhat complicated scheme that I’m using to create all 26 stories in the series.

They’ll be the next two stories that I send out via email newsletter and podcast, in August and September 2026.
